What is probiotics?
Probiotics are the live bacteria
that every digestive system needs to work. It is the same bacteria
that is in yogurt. When a dog is stressed, given anti-biotics,

extent paste wormers, this not only kills the bad bacteria, but

What is the difference between

"diatomaceous earth" (DE) that comes from a mine in Nevada. This DE was
put into the Total* formula when it was developed by the
nutritionist at Utah State University for the rich mineral
content. It was only later that we learned about the effects of DE
on parasites. What science has figured out is that the texture of
the DE is sharp to parasites. As the parasite passes across
the DE, they are cut and die. The nice thing about this method of
eliminating parasites is that it is mechanical as opposed to
paste wormers which are toxic to the dog. The parasite can
build up an immunity to the wormers thus losing the effectiveness
of the wormers.
What's the difference between
